This is a blog version of Tao Lin’s class at Sarah Lawrence. It is not affiliated with either Tao Lin or Sarah Lawerence. I am a fan of Tao Lin and of contemporary short stories. I wanted to read the authors he has listed on his syllabus and open it up to a public forum. I am not a teacher. I have a few short stories published but I am no authority. I am just facilitating something that everyone can contribute to. I will be posting my thoughts about one story per week and encourage anyone to comment with their own insights using the questions Tao Lin recommends on his syllabus. Think of this as an online class in which we are all participating.

Blog posts and comments should not summarize the story but assume that the story in question has already been read. Which means there may be spoilers.
